Dr Elizabeth Harrison MBBS

Dr Elizabeth Harrison graduated in 2011 from Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She has had several years in hospital experience prior to commencing her General Practice training in 2020 and has both rural and regional general practice experience in west and far-north Queensland. Throughout her hospital years she has gained experience in many specialties as well as rehabilitation in Queensland, New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory.

She obtained a Masters in Surgical Sciences through the University of Sydney in 2018 and compliments her general practice work with assisting surgeons in major surgical procedures in Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice but has particular interests in preventative health, chronic disease management, obesity, women’s health as well as paediatric and adolescent health.

Her warm and friendly manner makes patient’s feel at ease; and she has a passion and commitment to making a difference to people’s health.

She has one son and enjoys spending time with her family as well as cooking and Pilates.
