Dr Avalon McCluskey
Dr. Avalon McCluskey graduated from the University of Queensland in 2021 and began her medical career at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, gaining broad clinical experience across multiple specialties, including obstetrics and gynaecological oncology. She completed a year as a general practice registrar with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service and is now in her final year of general practice training. These experiences have deepened her commitment to culturally sensitive care. While she enjoys all aspects of general practice, her clinical experiences have fostered a particular passion for women’s health and Indigenous healthcare, where she strives to provide compassionate, holistic, and patient-centred care.
Dr. McCluskey provides comprehensive general practice services, including skin checks and minor skin procedures, weight loss management ear micro-suction for wax removal, Mirena and Implanon insertion and removal, medical termination of pregnancy, and GP-shared antenatal care. She is committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and personalised care across all stages of life.
