How do I book an appointment?

Do I book a short or long appointment?
For quick single issues a short appointment suffices, while multiple issues, mental health issues, and medical assessments (pre-employment etc.) will require a long appointment.
How much do I pay for the visit and how is payment made?
The practice fees are available from the reception staff: charges vary from $80 - $120 on weekdays (surcharge on weekends), depending on the length of the consult, and concessions may apply to eligible patients. Aged pensioners/children under 16 and other categories may be eligible for bulk billing. Payment may be made in cash or by EFTPOS.
How do I access afterhours care?
Afterhours medical care is provided by an accredited locum service – HOME DOCTOR SERVICE.
To request a home visit when practice is closed, call 1137425 9 SICK.
In case of an emergency dial 000.
How do I access urgent medical attention?
The practice will always accommodate urgent medical cases, and there is a system of triaging all phone calls of this nature. Explain your problem to the reception staff who will liaise with the nurses/doctors to assist you in a timely manner.
How do I get my test results?
The practice has a policy of requesting all patients to attend the practice for all test results, with exception of normal pap smear results.
The visit for 'results only' is not charged.
Do the doctors at the practice take phone calls?
In order to ensure smooth and timely consults, phone call interruptions to doctors are kept to a minimum. However, in urgent cases doctors will return phone calls at their earliest convenience. The practice discourages phone consults in the interest of patient safety.
